Product Introduction
The Ballasted Triangle Rack Solar Mounting System is designed usually with 2 cement blocks ballast upon a tray to fix the triangle rack and avoid damaging rooftop. This mounting system is generally installed on flat cement floor, usually on flat cement rooftops and terraces, and few times also on open ground.
The main parts of the Ballasted Triangle Rack Solar Mounting System are Triangle Rack, Ballasted Tray, and End Clamp. The triangle rack stands with a telescopic link for back bracing. So, the angle of the structure can be adjustable by changing the length of the back bracing rod. With main parts made of surface anodized aluminum AL6005/T5, the system can stand firm and keep a long life service.

Install Steps
1. Unfold the pre-assembled Fixed Triangle Rack, lock the bolt tightly.
2. When mounting the Triangle Rack on flat ground, cover the Ballasted Tray and use the concrete blocks to hold down. Change the orientation of the rack if to install to wall and then fixed it to wall with expansion bolts.
3. Install the solar panel on the Rails with the End Clamp, lock the bolt tightly.

Do solar ballasts attach directly to roofs?
In a ballasted installation, the PV array is not fixed to the roof but is held in place by weights, often concrete blocks. The weight blocks are not directly attached to the roof. They sit on a tray and use gracity to stablize the whole system.

What size and how many ballasts should I use for a my solar system?
A calculation is made for the ballast weight required to hold the PV array on the roof, so that even in windy weather the array will not move or blow off the roof.
