The ZIYUAN aluminum waterproof solar carport is an aluminum mounting structure for installing PV modules above parking areas. It supports on-site solar power generation while serving as a reliable canopy that helps protect vehicles from rain and direct sunlight. This dual-purpose solution makes better use of existing parking space without requiring additional land.
The system integrates horizontal and vertical guide gutters with sealing components to collect and direct rainwater away from the carport roof area. When installed in accordance with approved drawings, specified sealing positions, fastening torque requirements, and installation instructions, it helps reduce the risk of water ingress below the structure.

Comprehensive Installation Guide
Step 1: Concrete Foundation & Base Installation
Select a relatively flat site and prepare the concrete foundations in accordance with the approved structural drawings. Embed M12 J-type anchor bolts in advance, leaving approximately 30 mm of the threaded section exposed above the concrete surface. Position the base on the foundation and secure it using the anchor bolts, M12 washers, and M12 nuts.
Step 2: Beam & Column Assembly
Connect the Pre-assembled Columns to the Beams using M12-110 bolts. Then install the beam and column assemblies onto the bases using M12-130 bolts. At this stage, tighten the bolts only enough to hold the structure in position, leaving room for alignment and level adjustment before final tightening.
Step 3: Beam Leveling & Rail Installation
Adjust all Beams to the same elevation and design position, then tighten all structural connections according to the specified torque requirements. Splice the Rails using Rail Connectors and secure each side of the connection with four ST6.3*19 screws.
Step 4: Vertical Guide Gutter Installation
Install the Vertical Guide Gutter Connector at the bottom of the Vertical Guide Gutter using M8-25 T-bolts and tighten securely. Then mount the complete Vertical Guide Gutter assembly onto the Rail using Rail Clamps, with one clamp on each side in accordance with the structural design.
Step 5: Sealing & Solar Panel Installation
Insert the Rubber Sealing Strip into the slot of the Vertical Guide Gutter, then position the Horizontal Guide Gutter over the strip. Finally, install the Solar Panels on the Horizontal Guide Gutter using End Clamps and Mid Clamps with Earthing Plates. Follow the approved drawings, sealing positions, specified fastening torque, and installation instructions to ensure the drainage and sealing assembly performs as designed.

The ZIYUAN solar carport structure is designed for a service life of up to 25 years under appropriate design, installation, inspection, and maintenance conditions.
The structure is covered by a 12-year structural warranty in accordance with the applicable warranty terms of Xiamen Ziyuan Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
