Before deployment, verify the following technical parameters to ensure code compliance (JIS C8955 / AS/NZS 1170.2):
Identify the rafter location by temporarily lifting the tile. Slide the hook base into position directly over the rafter. Drive corrosion-resistant self-tapping screws through the pre-drilled base holes into the wood members. Verify full engagement to prevent pull-out failure under peak wind loads.

Connect rail segments using internal or external rail connectors. Ensure splice joints are perfectly aligned and hardware is torqued to manufacturer specifications. A continuous rail distributes mechanical stress more evenly across the hook array.
Fasten the spliced rails to the vertical arm of the tile hooks. Use a string line or laser level to check for lateral alignment. Precise rail leveling at this stage prevents module frame distortion and simplifies clamp installation later.

Begin the first row from the roof's bottom edge. Align the module edge with the rail termination and lock it into place using End Clamps. Maintain a consistent overhang according to your engineering layout.
Insert Mid Clamps between adjacent modules. These dual-purpose fasteners lock modules to the rails while maintaining the necessary 10mm thermal expansion gap between frames.[1, 3]
Repeat the process row-by-row, moving from bottom-to-top and left-to-right. This workflow minimizes safety risks and ensures the array remains square to the roof ridge.
Install grounding lugs on each rail and connect them to the system’s copper ground conductor. Proper bonding is essential for lightning protection and electrical code compliance (UL 2703).
